Discount on Florida luxury Hotels !

If you are on a limited budget tour to Florida and do not want to settle for a sleazy motel which rents room at dirt cheap rates but is situated at a downtown part of the city, then discount hotels are your next best option.

With the option of discount hotels you can get rooms for as low as $50 per night even on a twin sharing basis. Some of the high end hotels situated in the posh areas of the city also offer huge discounts. If you are lucky enough then some of the discounts can even go up to as much as 70% of the regular rates. However, these discount offers are at their best during the off seasons, when there are not that many tourists in the cities.

Your web browsing ability can help you find a decent deal which includes all the facilities provided by a five star hotel for as low as $75 a night. This may include a luxurious room, a swimming pool, complimentary meals and the facility to use the gymnasium.

While making these deals online one needs to be extremely cautious as a number of websites often display fraudulent information. They display photographs which are supposedly of the hotels at which you are making reservations but upon arrival, the actual hotel bears little resemblance to the one in the photographs.

It is a good idea to go through unbiased reviews posted by former customers before you make any reservations, otherwise you might discover that your vacation turns out to be quite disastrous. You might find that the room service is extremely slow, or your room might not even have the most basic facility of a shower. The food could be bad and there might be a number of other hidden expenses that surprise you only later in the bill.

So, for an experience which will leave you with fond memories, be sure to make your hotel reservations with extreme caution.

Choosing Luxury Florida Hotels !

There's a lot to consider when choosing the right hotel for your Florida vacation. What sort of scenery do you want? What activities do you enjoy? The list is long, but here's a few things to look for that might ease your Florida hotel search.

1. Go for the lakes-The beach is overrated. They're crowded and expensive. Why not head to Florida's heartland? Choosing a Sebring vacation still offers you a waterfront view thanks to Lake Jackson, without all the negatives that come from choosing a hotel on Florida's coast.

2. Look at the menu-One of the best parts of any vacation will be the food. If you choose a Sebring vacation, you can find hotels that have high-class restaurants on site. Why spend time running around searching for food if you can have the best right at your finger tips? Find Sebring hotels that run their own restaurants.

3. Don't compromise on luxury- When looking for Sebring, Florida hotels, loosen up the grip on your wallet a little bit. Sure you don't have to go broke over luxury, but you don't want to find yourself in a run down motel either. Make sure you choose a hotel that offers an elegant experience at a reasonable price.

4. Look at the reviews- If other customers are happy, you probably will be too. On the other hand, if a Florida hotel has lots of bad reviews, you'll probably have a terrible experience. Reviews are one of the best tools you can utilize in your Florida hotel hunt. Read them carefully. Remember, don't fixate on one single review either. Read them all and get a good, general idea of what the hotel you're looking at has to offer.

5. See what attractions are available locally- Who wants a boring vacation? Sure a nice hotel has plenty to offer, but what about the town? Eventually you'll want to venture out and explore the local area. Choose a hotel in a town like Sebring, Florida and you'll ensure that you have plenty to do-without compromising the quiet, peaceful experience you crave.

6. You need a spa day- You're tired and overworked. We all are. Do yourself a favor and select a hotel with a full-service spa. Skin treatments and professional massages go a long way towards both physical and mental rejuvenation. So make sure you return from your Sebring vacation with loosened muscles and smooth, healthy skin.

7. Study the photos- Do you remember what things were like before the advent of the internet? Booking a Florida hotel meant you had to keep your fingers crossed and hope the place looked as good as the owners claimed. Luckily, now all you have to do is surf on over to a hotel's website and check out the pictures. What you see is what you get, so study the photos closely.

8. There has to be a pool-You would think pools come standard, right? Well, don't assume. Before you book your Sebring hotel ask about the pool. It may not seem like a deal breaker, but nothing says "relaxation" like a dip in the pool.

Using the above list will cut down on the difficulty of choosing a Florida hotel. If you end up deciding on a Sebring vacation, remember to visit their historical downtown district. You won't be sorry!

The Don Cesar Hotel - the Pink Palace

On a recent December visit to the Don Cesar Hotel and Resort, our group met with Resort Host and Certified Concierge, Ronald MacDougall. As concierge, Mr. MacDougall assures that each guest has the finest experience during their stay at the Don Cesar. In his position as concierge, he has assisted many of the VIPs that have visited the historic pink hotel on the Gulf of Mexico in St. Petersburg, Florida. Those guests have included Mariah Carry, Carole King, Mick Jagger and Jimmy Buffet, as well as many of the visiting Presidents.

Our private tour began in the main bar and lounge, which at this time of the year is beautifully decorated for the holiday season. The majestic dark wood bar, couches and large leather chairs make this the perfect place to sit back, relax and imagine yourself in another era, the early glory days of the Pink Palace.

The story of the Don Cesar Hotel or Pink Lady, as Thomas Rowe liked to call the hotel, begins at the beginning as all good stories do. It was a vision of Thomas J. Rowe to create a monument to a lost love.

This part of the story begins in London where rumor would have it that the young Thomas Rowe, while attending a university, attended the opera "Maritana" where he became infatuated with the female lead, Lucinda, a beautiful Spanish opera singer. They met each night after her performance beside a fountain in London.

Plans were made to elope. On the night that they were to leave, Lucinda did not show and Rowe was left waiting by the fountain. Her parents were made aware of the pending marriage and forced Lucinda to return home to Spain. Lucinda was reported to have died at a young age, but sent this letter to Thomas containing this passage. "Time is infinite, I wait for you by the fountain to share our timeless love,...our destiny is time. " Well, if it didn't happen that way, it should have.

Returning to the United States, Thomas Rowe built commercial buildings in New York. He later moved to Norfolk, Virginia, there he met Mary Lucille, the daughter of a rich landowner. Thomas married Mary and began the life of a socialite.

At the age of 47 with his health declining, Thomas Rowe elected to relocate to a more hospitable climate. Leaving his wife in Virginia, he decided on Florida and in particular St Petersburg, Florida, which was experiencing a real estate boom. Arriving with $21,000.00, Rowe began purchasing property.

Real Estate development was hot in the early 1920's and Thomas Rowe partnered with another former Norfolk socialite and land developer, a Mr. Page. He and Page formed the Boca Ciega Land Company for the purchase of land.

Mr. Page developed the land on the north side of Johns Pass and the family still lives in Madeira Beach.

Rowe amassed a small fortune and while visiting an isolated stretch of undeveloped beach in the area known as Pass-A-Grille. Pass-A-Grille was named for the 18 century "grilleurs" who dried fish on the white beaches. This was a very remote and rugged landscape. Access from the mainland was by a wooden bridge. On these white sands beside the gentle waves of the Gulf of Mexico, Thomas Rowe envisioned his dream resort. Against the advice of many in his circle, Thomas Rowe purchased 80 acres on these shores. Soon a residential subdivision was built and each street was named for a character from the opera Maritana.

In 1926 construction began on his dream resort. Rowe hired architect Henry DuPont to design the project. One obstacle that had to be overcome was the massive structure would be sitting on sand. A floating foundation was devised and its success is reflected in the fact that the foundation has not shifted in the past 82 years.

Another obstacle was transporting construction material. The bridge as earlier mentioned was older and manned by an older bridge keeper who was not always reliable, opening the bridge when he was in the mood. Construction material was placed on a barge and brought to the site bypassing the bridge.

A railroad strike that year drove up costs of construction and after finishing the exterior and interior of the resort, Thomas Rowe ran out of money to furnish the hotel. A backer was needed to save the venture. H.P. Churchill would provide the money, but he had a stipulation. He would name the manager. It was agreed and the Don Cesar had its Grand Opening in 1927, with the some of the wealthiest people in America attending.

It was lavish and plush in the Grand Lobby. Thomas Rowe had constructed a replica of the fountain similar to the one where he,as a student, would rendezvous with the beautiful Lucinda. The fountain would be the first thing that guests would see after climbing the entry stairway into the lobby and was the center- piece of the resort. Modeled after the Royal Hawaiian on Waikiki Beach, the Don Cesar Resort was a vision, standing on the sands of Pass-A-Grille. Thomas Rowe liked to call the hotel the Pink Lady.

The main entrance into the resort was on Gulf Blvd. with two lion statues and a sign stating "Come All Ye Who Seek Health and Rest. For Here They Are Abundant." The original staircase is hidden, but is located where the Ice Cream Shop is now situated on the first floor.

As luck would have it, the timing could not have been worse; the economy entered what became known as the Great Depression. Fortunately for the hotel, an agreement with the New York Yankees baseball team was secured for housing the players during spring training which helped the resort stay solvent.

Thomas Rowe moved into one of the two penthouses in the Don Cesar. Everyday Rowe would station himself in a chair in the lobby, talking with visitors and staff and taking stock of the guests. Guests who did not meet a certain standard of dress or manners and speech were asked to leave the hotel. It was not an era of political correctness.

Then in 1940, Thomas Rowe collapsed in the lobby. He refused to be taken to the hospital, so he was moved into adjoining rooms 101 and 102. There he stayed until his death. Rowe attempted to get a will witnessed by his attended nurses, but they refused. This reported Will would have left the Pink Lady in the hands of the staff. As it happened, Thomas Rowe's wife, Mary, gained control of the Don Cesar. The resort fell on hard times. Then in 1941 after the attack on Pearl Harbor, a vacation at the beach was not as attractive. People became afraid of attack from the ocean and soon the guests stopped arriving. The U.S. government purchased the Don Cesar and converted the resort for use as a convalescent center for members of the US Army Air Corp. suffering from shell shock and injuries from the war.

One casualty of the transfer of ownership was the fountain in the main lobby. The manager of the converted building was concerned that one of the visitors would trip over the fountain and ordered it removed.

Later the Don Cesar was used for government offices and was finally left abandoned and fell into disrepair. A movement began to have the resort leveled and removed. A counter movement lead by local resident and activist June Hardy Young began to restore the Don Cesar. The later movement was successful and a new owner for the resort was located. William Bowman purchased the resort and in 1973, the resort was reopened. During the remodeling, a replica of the original fountain was placed on the fifth floor.

Our tour included the penthouses, which were vacant at the time of our visit, and the Presidential Suite where every President has stayed since 1940. The penthouses have a spectacular view of St. Petersburg, the gulf beaches and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Of course if you decide to stay in one these penthouses, it will set you back around $3500.00 a night.

The Don Cesar is a beautiful resort with two swimming pools, exercise room and a new spa. Opened just recently, the 11,000 sq ft Spa Ocean is a state of the art spa. Guests can have a massage, get in the whirlpool and sauna, and then have a lunch on the roof of the spa building overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.

If you go, ask the reservationist if there are any specials. On our visit, we received a preseason rate and were very happy with our stay.

The resort is co-owned and operated by the Loews Hotels chain.

An Orlando Vacation Villa in Windsor Hills Resort - The Ideal Disney Florida Holiday

An Orlando vacation villa offers the ideal Disney Florida holiday, particularly if it is situated in the magnificent Windsor Hills resort. Have you any idea just how luxurious these vacations in Orlando are? If you are still using hotels for your Disney holidays in Florida, then obviously not!

Nobody that has spent their vacation in one of these villas, especially in Windsor Hills resort, could ever use a hotel again. It's not only the cost, and we shall come back to that later, but mainly the sheer ambience, luxury and quiet that you get, and what more can you want on an Orlando vacation except perhaps the fun and entertainment for which any Orlando resort is famed. Let's have a look at three distinctly different groups of people (you likely fit into one of them), and how they can enjoy a Disney Florida holiday using an Orlando vacation villa as their home base. Even if you can't identify with one of these, you will be close, I promise you.

1. The Small Family

The difference between a small and a large family is all relative of course (Ha! Ha!), but let's assume a small family comprises two partners and their two children - a boy and a girl aged about 12 - 15 or so. Had they booked a hotel, they would have had to have three rooms - kids of that age and different genders cannot share a room. This is a common situation, so you have, say, 3 hotel rooms in Orlando for 7 days, 6 nights.

I won't even estimate the prices of the hotel rooms, although a four-bedroom villa will cost less than $190 in high season. That sleeps 6, so even if your kids bring their friends, there's more than enough room. Three bathrooms, 4 TVs and 3 DVD players, and a PS2. You also get your own kitchen, so no having to pay for room service for a burger at the end of the night. If you aren't bothered about your kids' friends, get a 4 -bed condo for only $125 a night. Thinks of these prices, and that's the last I will say about it. At $145, that's less than $50 per room, and at $125, it comes to exactly $31.25 each. You can get your own pool for $55 total extra for the week.

2. The Large Family

If you are on vacation with a large family - perhaps several children and some aunts and uncles, the price for a 6 bedroom Orlando vacation villa in the Windsor Hills resort comes to $24.50 each for a party of 10 in mid-summer. That gives you the ideal Disney Florida holiday in a luxury villa for less the price of a cabin or trailer/caravan.

3. The Golfers

The third group is the golfing buddies. They are not so much interested in Disney World Florida, but they will be in the Windsor Hills resort with all its sporting facilities, video rental and store. You can enjoy your day on the golf course, and then get back to your villa with a few beers from the supermarket (no hotel bar prices), rustle up a few burgers or hot dogs without paying room service, and sit by your pool enjoying a great evening. Maybe hire a video and watch that on your 50+ inch flat screen TV.

The one thing in common with each of these groups is that there is more than enough sleeping accommodation, you have a private pool, but best of all, you have your own kitchen, freezer, dishwasher and clothes washer/dryer. Saves you a fortune over hotels, and when you add to that the benefits of the resort then it's a no-brainer for your Disney Florida holiday.

The vast majority of people that have tried an Orlando vacation villa have never gone back to a hotel, cabin or anything else, and when that has been situated within the bounds of the Windsor Hills resort, only 5 minutes from Disney - easy walking distance - with all that the resort has to offer, then they have unanimously declared it sheer perfection as accommodation for their Disney vacation. They also question the ultra-low price when they first see it, but the reason is very obvious once explained.

No restaurant and staff, no daily cleaners, no waiters, bellhops, reception staff, bar staff, captains, laundry or anybody else needed to run a good hotel. No lights on all day or anything else needed by guests. It's just like home: sure, you have to clean up, but you can pay extra to have it done for you. However, don't judge your Orlando vacation villa just by comparing it to a hotel.

These villas are just like home, with separate bedrooms, some have games rooms and you also have a kitchen and lounge, with plenty entertainment units such as a games console, TVs, VCRs DVD players, some have Bose radios and all the rest that turns just a villa into a luxury villa. If you intend having a Disney Florida holiday next year, book an Orlando vacation villa, and if you can get one in the Windsor Hills resort, then so much the better. See you there!

The Quality Hotel Nautilus in Cape Coral, Florida - Being There

My relocation to Cape Coral started, I assume, the same way most others have...with a stay at the Quality Hotel Nautilus.

I remember driving into Cape Coral for the first time. The toll booth. The bridge. The glistening waters of the Caloosa hatchee River speckled with recreational boaters. I remember the tingly feeling I got at the high point of the Cape Coral Bridge, looking over a place which would soon become my new home. Canals and tropical palm trees. Boats in backyards. Cement houses. Lots of dark green and blue. It was just as I pictured it would be and so different from the places I'd known until then.

I passed the Freemason monument and water fountain at the entrance to the city, and everything felt like it was clicking into place. "Keep your eyes open for the Quality Hotel," I told my wife. "It should be right around here somewhere." And there it was. Just as generic a hotel as I'd ever stayed in on any of my road trips. Cheap. Clean. Efficient. Easy to find. And located right where I needed it to be.

In 2005, the Quality Hotel, was the most viable option in town for lodging. The Hampton Inn had not been built yet. There were one or two other hotels listed online, but poor customer reviews ruled those out. And a stay at the Quality Hotel is steeped in tradition. The parcel of land the Quality Hotel is built on was originally occupied by the Nautilus Hotel and Surfside Restaurant, the first hotel and restaurant in town. Staying in this place while I searched for my new home made me feel connected to the semi-recent pioneer past of Cape Coral. I liked the way that felt.

We pulled in and parked the car in the rear parking lot. The lot was almost full. There were two moving trucks in the back corner.

We checked into our room, lugged a bunch of stuff into the elevator, and crashed in road-fatigue to the bed. It had been about 10 hours since we left Myrtle Beach, South Carolina...and we were both sick of being in the car.

I looked at the pamphlets and fumbled with the remote to flick on the television. Wink News was on, and the stories they covered were as exotic as news in new places always is. Something about Nile monitors. Something about burrowing owls. Something about trying to bounce back from Hurricane Charley. I adored it. These were the stories of my future community. These were the stories I wanted to be telling.

I opened the sliding glass door to a balcony looking down on Cape Coral Parkway. It sounded like a city. It sounded industrious. Lots of running engines. An occasional siren. People waiting at the bus stop murmuring gossip to each other. At the time, construction was full force ahead, and migrant workers crowded the beds of pickup trucks on their commute home from hard days at work. I remember the skies becoming smeared pastel, swirling and changing with the steady advance towards dusk. I remember the huge United States flag flapping above Perkins in the intermittent breeze. Cape Coral felt like a place of opportunity, American opportunity, where the stories of American lives were unfurling in the coastal air and humid haze. It felt like a place that was accepting me, a place I needed to be.

"Maybe it's time for Margaritas." And like that, we composed ourselves and headed to the inviting Surfside Tiki Bar down by the pool. Plastic-cupped sour mix and tequila with ice cubes and slices of lime cooled our jangling nerves. Night had fallen. Headlights and streetlights and business signs mingled with the scent of night-blooming jasmine in the breeze. A few drinks later, and we'd exchanged life stories with the bartender and everyone else at the bar.

That night I barely slept. I lay in a not-quite comfortable bed, my head on strange pillows, and pondered my small place in the history of the Quality Hotel. How many others had checked into this room with intentions similar to mine? How many others had lay right in this spot wondering what their life in this new place would be like? How many others had traveled along this same path on their journey towards fulfilling a distant dream of relocating to South Florida? Out in the hallway, at an ungodly hour, a man was yelling at his family. I'm pretty sure it had something to do with moving.

The next morning was early to rise and crowded breakfast at Perkins. The smell of pastries and greasy bacon enticed me as I sat in the booth wrestling with the length and width of a News Press "Homes For Sale" classified ads section. We were meeting with the Realtor in an hour. Housing inventory was tight in those days. There wasn't much to look at, everything was under contract. On that morning, we had no way of knowing it would take three more visits to Cape Coral before we'd find the perfect house. We were overwhelmed with the new frontier before us and anxious to explore.

Our Realtor was to meet us in front of The Quality Hotel. After a not-quite satisfying breakfast, I went out and sat on the bench in front of Perkins to wait for him. Car exhaust wafted through the air. Birds flitted from tree to tree, communicating with other birds in the sing-song language we don't understand. Dump trucks groaned their way through lower gears as the Del Prado intersection stoplight turned green. And I just sat there, completely anonymous, trying to make acquaintance with the city of Cape Coral, while that immense American flag above me blew in whatever direction the wind told it to.

Now it's three years later. Today I decided to venture down to the Quality Hotel Nautilus to walk around and contrast how Cape Coral looks to the resident I've become.

This time I head to the Quality Hotel from the opposite direction on Cape Coral Parkway. Not from over the bridge in the East, but from my home in the Southwest. I know where I'm going, where I need to turn. I pass banks I keep my money in, shopping markets I buy my groceries from, restaurants I regularly eat at, stores I've conducted business in, and a place I once got my hair cut at. I drive by buildings still needing roof repairs from the tornado that put us on CNN. I pass the daycare that horrible shooting happened at and some bank-owned foreclosure homes for sale. Homes are for sale everywhere, five or six on every street, and at prices I would have rejoiced at during my relocation.

I look at businesses that have changed owners multiple times since my arrival. I wonder what used to be in the building now housing Pearl Lounge. I read the sign telling me to "Brace" myself "For The New Martini's - Under New Ownership". I notice the surge in these roadside sandwich trailers that have been popping up in the parking lots of established and shut down businesses. Cuban Sandwiches. Gyros or Chicken in Pita. They remind me of certain roadside stands I knew up North. I always mean to stop at one, but never find the time.I think on the entrepreneurial spirit that seems to define Cape Coral, all the new start-ups, the immense number of home-based businesses. Every third, or fourth, car, or truck, I pass has a business logo and phone number emblazoned along the side or across the rear window. Sometimes they're businesses I never imagined a need for. A headlight cleaning business. A bee-removal service. Cape Coral is a place where ideas become reality, where people put their thoughts in action. It's a beautiful thing to see. It hints at the independent and creative spirit alive and whispering within each of us. Not everyone succeeds, but at least they're trying. They won't be burdened by the "what-ifs" during their slow approach to the end.

Finally I arrive at the Quality Hotel. It's still early and people are checking out of their rooms. A man herds three children into a rental car. A thirty-something couple puts a cooler in their trunk. A maintenance man tends to some of the landscaping.

I walk past the Tiki Bar. It's too early for drinks. The bar is still closed. The pool is empty.

I walk in the back door of the hotel and immediately take the elevator to the top floor. Once there, I stop and look out the thick, tinted windows towards the Cape Coral Bridge. The greens and blues are still just as exhilarating as I remember.

All these buildings were nameless to me when I first arrived here. Now, as I look across the landscape, I know what I'm seeing. Questionable Real-Estate-Guru, Russ Whitney's, Wealth Intelligence Academy. The backside of one of Cape Coral's fairly well-hidden post offices. Barry Anton's Hair Salon.I can see the Cape Coral "Welcome" monument, only this time it's from the inside looking out.

Leaving the window behind, I turn around and walk down the carpeted hallway. Housekeeping carts are parked beside the open doors of vacant rooms, but the hallway is quiet. I don't see any actual housekeepers around. I take a chance and peek my head into one of the empty rooms. No one's around, and there are no personal effects, so I step inside.

They all look the same, these rooms. Drab rugs. Rough and gaudy bedspreads. Old, boxy television. Nondescript furnishings. There are towels on the floor in the bathroom. From inside this room you could be anywhere in America. It's what's outside the window that counts. I walk towards the sliding glass window.

I never make it onto the balcony. Before I get there, a Latino housekeeper arrives with a questioning look on her face. She never asks me anything. I'm not sure she speaks English.

"Just looking around," I say. I point at my camera, I'm not sure why, and a smile spreads across the housekeeper's face. Because of the camera, my intrusion is apparently forgiven. Explain that.

I leave the room, and head towards the other elevator. I ride the elevator down into the lobby. Once again, the camera does the trick. Everyone sees my camera gear, and labels me a tourist.

Disguise intact, I continue the subterfuge and immerse myself in the experience. I grab a quick cup of coffee from the continental breakfast and peruse the rack of pamphlets. 101 Things To Do in Southwest Florida. Southwest Florida Travel Guide. Beaches Must Do. Areas Best Maps. Activities and Attractions. Arts and Culture. Shopping. Dining. Boat Rides. When I first came the the Quality Hotel, this was a rack full of question marks. Now it's a rack of pleasant memories and things I'd like to do again. The Key West Express. Captiva Cruises. Eden Vineyards. The Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium. J C Cruises. Sanibel Island Restaurants. These are the places and attractions that bring people to Southwest Florida. The lifestyle. The beaches. It's too bad so many of us top being tourists shortly after we move here. I talked to a year round resident the other day who told me, "It's been ten years since I've been to the beach." What a shame.

I grab a complimentary copy of USA Today from the hotel lobby and walk back outside.

I meander over to the same bench in front of Perkins where I first waited to meet the Realtor three years ago. I take a seat and put my camera gear beside me. This is the spot I imagined myself visiting when I woke up this morning. Now that I'm here, I strain to absorb the full experience of this place. Do I see it differently. Has it changed? Have I?

The traffic and car exhaust are just as I remembered them. The trees look taller, fuller. The birds still emit their melodic proclamations back and forth. In this moment I see myself as the same person I was the first time I sat here. I see Cape Coral the same way I did on that long ago day. Just another nameless guy sitting on a bench in Cape Coral. That's when the door to Perkins opens up and the person who emerges from within looks at me with the same sense of recognition on her face I'm sure I had on mine.

"Don't I know you from somewhere?" she asks.

"I'm pretty sure you do," I reply.

We go through the social motions until we've pinpointed the time and place we first made acquaintance with each other. It was a local business we both worked at for short stints on our journeys to where we are now.

And like that, the illusion dissipates. The false sense of anonymity withers away. Somewhere between who I am and where I'm at, the single vital change which has taken place through passing time becomes apparent within me. I'm no longer a stranger from out of town. I'm a recognizable member of this community, a small part of the working whole which is Cape Coral. Time and moments move on and slowly the foreign becomes familiar. We absorb our surroundings and they absorb us through some strange miracle of geographical osmosis. We mingle and merge and become a part of wherever it is we've chosen to be.

Orlando Vacation Rental - Orlando Luxury Vacation Villas

Orlando luxury vacation villas should allow you to enjoy your well-earned holiday in the most luxurious Orlando vacation rental homes that Florida has to offer. Whether you are visiting Orlando with your family for a visit to Disney World, or with your partner or buddies on a golfing trip, you will be seeking accommodation offering you something different from that you are used to.

Orlando has great deal to offer, and although it best known to many for Disney World, the fairy-tale complex was not sited in this part of Florida by accident. The climate is ideal for a vacation, and the area offers lots to do and see, such as Gatorland, Universal studios and a host of golf courses in addition to all the night-life you want. It is one of the world's best known vacation destinations.

If you are used to the best that life has to offer, why should your vacation home in Orlando offer you less? If you are like most of us, and enjoy a bit of luxury once in a while, just check out what Orlando vacation rental villas have to offer. Just as Disney can satisfy the imagination of your children, Orlando can cater for your imagination in what you might want in your vacation home.

If you want a pool and Jacuzzi or spa, you've got it. No need to share a pool with an entire hotel - you can have your own with a short term Orlando luxury vacation villa. You can also rent a town house, condo or estate villa in its own extensive grounds or as part of a complex. How about a gourmet granite kitchen, home cinema and entertainment system, or fantastic floors made of marble? You deserve a bit of luxury while on vacation: you have worked all year for it so why not pamper yourself?

Sure, if you are used to luxury you can likely book a top class hotel, but why cram yourself and your family into hotel rooms when you can enjoy the comfort of a proper home. You can enjoy the privacy and peace and quiet that you cannot get in a hotel, and many people opt for vacation estate villas just for these reasons. If the thought of cooking makes you shudder you are not forced to use the kitchen since Orlando boasts some of the best restaurants in the world.

There is a wide range of Orlando luxury vacation homes available for short term rental, with villas of up to eight bedrooms on offer. Such properties also offer up to eight bathrooms, and most have pools and spas with other luxury facilities. Considering the number of shopping malls and restaurants available in and around Orlando, these are genuine alternatives to hotel rooms. In fact the rooms tend to be larger and better furnished than the average hotel room, and many people prefer them.

Little wonder, then, that Orlando vacation rental villas are increasing rapidly in popularity, and if you take the current economic situation into consideration then they are suddenly compellingly attractive. You get a lot more for your money with a vacation villa in Orlando than with a hotel Normally, if you want experience the luxury that these Orlando luxury vacation rentals offer, you would have to book into a top class hotel at a fairly high room price. However, that need not necessarily be the case with a villa since the relative costs depend on the size of your family or party. This is easier to understand if you consider how the system works.

These villas are designed to offer luxury, and are decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The pool, spa and entertainment facilities have been previously mentioned, and some also offer a games room including a billiard table. Yet others are part of a complex, offering a gym, restaurant and other communal facilities.

You pay for the vacation villa by the day, irrespective of the number in your party up to an allowed maximum. For example, a typical 6 bedroom Orlando vacation rental villa sleeps 12 people at a cost of $215 daily during the summer and less the rest of the year, except special times such as Christmas. Compare that with the price of hotel rooms for 12 people and it is clear why this type of vacation accommodation is becoming increasingly more popular.

Add to that the privacy that your own villa offers, the peace of not having noisy people enter the room next door in the early hours and the increasing financial pressure being placed on families as the credit squeeze tightens and money becomes scarcer, and it is little wonder that the proposition is so attractive to so many people.

If you intend to vacation in Orlando this year or next then you will find Orlando vacation rental villas available close to Disney and to Orlando itself, and also near all the major tourist attractions in this part of Florida. You will not be disappointed with any of the Orlando luxury vacation properties available for short term rent.

Orlando Vacation Rentals Offer a Step Up to Affordable Luxury on Your Next Vacation

Booking hotel or resort rooms for your vacation is so passe. Imagine going to Disney and then having to endure hundreds, if not thousands of other guests staying at the same hotel or resort as you and your family. All of a sudden the idea of a vacation isn't so relaxing anymore. Fortunately, there is an alternative and if you don't like the idea of crowds, then consider renting an Orlando Vacation Rental when the time comes to decide where you'll be staying while you're in Central Florida.

What Vacation Rentals Have to Offer
The best part about renting your own villa to vacation in during your stay is that you can enjoy total privacy from other guests while not giving up anything in terms of luxury accommodations. The best of both worlds indeed, especially if you want to have a good night's rest after spending all day touring the sights and sounds of Orlando.

If you've already been to Disney or one of the other theme parks such as SeaWorld or Universal Orlando during the day, then you probably wouldn't want a ruckus to keep you up during the night while you get some much needed rest for the day ahead, would you? The great thing about the privacy part of a vacation rental is that you can stop worrying about disturbing others, or others disturbing you during your vacation.

As well as having total privacy, another good part about renting your own vacation home is that when you're traveling as a small party, you'll certainly appreciate having multiple bedrooms in one residence. Instead of facing the possibility of everyone in your party having to stay at different hotels or spread about all over the place in one hotel, which causes no end of trouble when meeting up for outings, you'll simply have to rent one single villa to house everyone.

Resort-like Amenities
Not only are the bedrooms inside the villa residence just like luxury hotels, you won't have worry about missing out on what the luxury resorts have to offer. Every vacation home comes with a swimming pool as standard and if you select the right vacation rental company, you will find that they even have a concierge service that can arrange everything from transportation to dining and shopping to VIP theme park tours.

Vacation rentals also have a lot more to offer than your average hotel room. For instance, there is usually a full size kitchen so you can save money by having meals at home when you feel like it. Vacation rentals typically also have at least two or three TV sets and that can be important when you want to watch your show and someone else wants to watch theirs!

Another great thing about a rental is that it typically has a laundry area so you can save on having to haul a load of extra clothes around with you. Airlines are now starting to charge for each and every bag and that's where the laundry comes in to save you money and aggravation.

Vacation Rental Locations
